Nintendo’s Response to the VC Release Date Mess

A number of variables can affect a game’s release date. Therefore, the Wii-kly Update is the only authority for confirmed release dates of Virtual Console games. – Nintendo of America

Earlier this week we posted about several games that were confirmed by their publishers, although they were not added to the VC. Nintendo has stated in this response that only the Wii-kly update is the only true source for release dates. NoA is just saying that even the publishers have no clue about relase dates. Wow very good communication there.

In the end of the day, this proves Nintendo needs to stop being so secretive, sometimes it just annoys the hell out of people.
