“Play a real instrument”

This is probably something you might have heard many times from Rock Band/Guitar Hero critics, and it’s true. When playing one of these band games you are essentially rocking out with a plastic guitar that has rainbow colored buttons.

However now there’s a possibility of it becoming more than that, as revealed through a interview the Chicago Tribune had with the son of late Beatles guitarist George Harrison, Dhani Harrison, who is working with Haramonix on the sequel to highly popular series.

“I’m working on ‘Rock Band 3′ and making the controllers more real so people can actually learn how to play music while playing the game,” he says. “Give me a couple years, it’s going to happen.”
