Nintendo Confirms New Console Reveal for E3 2011

After all the speculation of Nintendo’s ‘Project Cafe’ running wild throughout the internet for the past few weeks (mostly relating to controller mockups featuring high-definition display screens), Nintendo has finally spoke out. While no actual hardware details have been revealed, it has been confirmed that the first playable model of the Wii’s successor will make it’s debut at this year’s E3.
“We will show a playable model of the new system and announce more specifications at the E3 Expo, which will be held June 7-9, 2011, in Los Angeles.”
Not only that, but they seem to be quite confident with the final product being released before the end of 2012. This information has been released by Nintendo representatives in Japan, but it seems that the earliest official information will be released in similar fashion to last year’s 3DS reveal. As for confirming if any of the alleged rumors about the console are true, that will have to wait until then. At least now, we can be assured that not only something exists, but that it’s very close to completion.
If you like, you can read what IGN’s sources are telling them about the console, but none of this information has been confirmed (or denied) by Nintendo as of this point in time.

I am very glad to see this news i think this new console will come with more graphics and so many great features i hope this new console will come with two versions one is with low graphics and another with high graphics due to these two versions some people cannot buy these gaming consoles company will understand them and launch a good gaming console for them with minimum price. I know Nintendo is one of the best gaming console with affordable price.
This is good for the 3ds as well, because both will certainly use the same infrastructure for their online play. That is, if Nintendo is serious about upgrading their service. The two systems should be totally integrated. This combined with street pass is exciting stuff.
