RE4 really was a perfect RESIDENT EVIL experience and the series has never been as good as it was then. Though I never had issues with the controls in any CoD game even back during World at War when you didn't have nearly as much control over your settings as you did in say, Black Ops or Modern Warfare 3. At worst you might have to relegate non essential commands to the 1 and 2 buttons (such as the scoreboard which I believe is set to one of them by default anyway) but otherwise everything else is pretty much manageable. Of course there is also the option to use the CCPro as well.
