This is the official Guitar Hero battle thread!

If you want to prove you have the skills to be considered the #1 Guitar Hero Nsider, this is the place. Come in, and participate in our weekly challenges, all based around Guitar Hero 3 and World Tour.

What exactly must I do?
This thread runs similar to the Arena Challenge. You look at the challenge I post in the thread. The challenge will simply be any song in either game, or maybe even a few songs. What you must do is try to get the highest score on in either Career or Quick play than anybody else, in a difficulty level of your choice (each difficulty level will have it's own separate list, in order to give everybody a chance).

When you are satisfied with your score, then you are required to take a picture of it as proof, and then post it here in this thread. You can post as many pictures as you want; in other words you can make as many entries as you want for the same challenge. It's not like if somebody beats you then there's nothing you can do about it. Also, if you have an account on the Guitar Hero Community website, you can post a link to your account instead of taking a picture.

At the end of the week, the user with the highest score in each difficulty will be awarded with rupees; the amount depending on the difficulty they entered. It is important note that you may only enter one difficulty level at a time.


How do I join?
You don't; you simply come in and leave whenever you wish. If you enter a score, you have no obligation to ever do so again (but I do encourage you to keep participating ).


So the prize is rupees? Or is there something more?
The rupee prizes each week will be, for each skill level:

Easy - 10
Medium - 25
Hard - 50
Expert - 100

But there is something more. Each month there will be one user who will be given the award Axe Legend:

Axe Legend

You get this award for being an outstanding participant in the thread. You don't necessarily have to win the most times; you must also be a positive, active, and competitive participant.

Now get out there and show that you are the best rocker here!

Heh, cool. I'm glad to see this up and running.

Even though I can't participate in this contest, I will still be watching.

Well you can after this week if you have the games XD

Oh yeah. I hope this challenge is still up at that time, because I think I might have a fighting chance on Eye of the Tiger. XD

I am so going to get World Tour tonight it's not even funny!

It'd be nice if we could get one of these, not only for Guitar Hero 3/WT, but also for Rock Band/RB2.
Alienating half the board's users isn't good anyway you slice the pie.

Adding in Drum, Vocals, and Bass challenges would be good too.

Yes we are working on that as well right now. ^_^

It'd be better if you changed Helicopter. Since it's a co-op song, it doesn't register on our accounts on GHC unless you play it on Co-op.

yea and no dlc, cause som people didn't download some songs. and no through the fire and flames, WAY to hard

YES to DLC.
But have it a separate challenge.

I have upwards of 150 songs downloaded for RB2 (Including the RB1 songs). I'd like to play some of them for these challenges.
