Welcome to the Pikmin 3 idea thread! Here is the place for you to:

1) Post your idea's about Pikmin 3
2) Discuss Pikmin 3 and other Pikmin games
3) Ask for help in Pikmin 1 or 2
4) Look for news about Pikmin 3 or other Pikmin related things (contests, events, ect)
5) Get info about the Pikmin games
6) Answer the polls

Rules:

1) No spaming or flaming other people's ideas
2) No copying other people's ideas (if you don't know your copying than it's okay)
3) Have fun!

At this time I have somebody making the banner. But I'm not going to include any add-ons.

If anybody has any suggestions to make this thread better (like idea's for polls, contests, ect.) than plz PM me or post it on this board. Thx.

-October 2, 2008: As you may know, Nintendo recently anounced that they would be re-selling GCN games on Wii with added motion control. The anounced games include Pikmin 1 and 2! -July 16, 2008: At E3 Shigeru Miyamoto anounces that he has Pikmin 3 for Wii in development. However Miyamoto didn't release any information, screenshots, or gameplay footage at this time Click here for the link

-April 18, 2008: When being interviewd by gamespot on Wii Fit, Shigeru Miyamoto hints a new Pikmin game; "As for what the developer would like to work on next, Miyamoto said he's looking forward to working on the Wii some more. -July 12, 2007: Shigeru Miyamoto practically confirms in a IGN interview that he is going to make Pikmin 3 sometime in the future, "I certainly don't think we've seen the last of Pikmin," he said. Idea Of The Month:

This is the area where I will post the Idea Of The Month. Whoever wins the Idea Of The Month will have there idea quoted in this post and there name will be underneath it. The Idea Of The Month is chosen by me and I will base my decisions on 3 main categories.

3) Inovaitivness

August Idea Of The Month:

I want rainy weather to play a big part in overworld exploration. Imagine when it starts to rain all day; trenches and holes would fill up with water, blocking paths that only Blue Pikmin could cross. Ponds may overflow and cover different parts of the land. The humidity brought in with the rain could even stir up more new creatures to face in the murky temperature. I had forwarded this idea many times, and one aspect that people didn't agree with on was the entire dependency on Blue Pikmin, and the fact that rain can only render Blue Pikmin useful. So to that I say this: The rain could stop briefly so other Pikmin can get done with their objectives, or you can gather more Blue Pikmin if you have none before the rain settles in. Think about it; rain in Pikmin 3 can change the atmosphere in drastic ways and add another layer of beauty and wonder. Not to mention it provides more depth in strategy and gameplay. What do you think? Does it sound nice to you?

Be on the DS. Seriously though, the touch screen to fling Pikmin, d-pad to move around, A and B to possibly interact with stuff and L to use the whistle!

But if we're talking about Wii only I'd say have Wi-Fi Encyclopaedia trading. And lots of different levels! And put Ai no Uta in it, remixed.

I just got my first pikmin game yesterday, which was pikmin 2 and I love it so far.

Here's what I want in the next one so far

Ability to stay after sundown

Pikmin don't get stuck as easily (mine have gotten stuck in places sometimes.)

Be on the wii (so the game could be longer, I want it to be as long as possible and have a good difficulty level. If it is for the DS it would be likely be kinda short)

Some new type of pikmin. (please more than one.)

That would be awesome.
