Fellow NS2 members, StarWindWizard along with the members of NSF have challenged us to a forum battle. I Ultra_Luigi, well as other members of the Legion War Central have discussed this forum battle for some time now. A lot of you may not be aware of this rivalry so I’m here to explain the issues with every single one of you.
Current Information NSF challenges us to a forum battle. How this is going to work out has not been decided yet so details will come later. What we do know is that their best members will go up against our best members. The big issue here is that we need to decide how we are going to pick the NS2 representatives.
Gbwyoshi was planning on creating the list on his own. He did not ask anyone for their opinions. His idea is to create a list by randomly choosing people from his tournament entrees. It doesn’t matter how good they are, it will all be chosen at random, with him as leader of course. I do not agree with this. If this is to be a legitimate forum battle, it would make sense to select the best players that you have.
That’s were I come in. The Legion War Central members and I decided that our best option would be to choose people via tournament history. A few tournaments will take place before this battle. These tournaments will be used as information to find out which members would be worthy of being our representatives. Tournament results will be stored and panelists will create the list from that information.
Time isn’t an issue because NSF wishes to train before this happens and so it gives us enough time to host tournaments and come up with an accurate list of our best players. Let this be done the right way. We don’t want to go down that easily. In fact, I believe we could easily win this.
What do you think about these plans? If you would like to leave suggestions, please do so.

I like the idea! I say we stick with this idea. I also want to compete in the tournament that decides who our representatives are. I'm not sure how I stack up to anyone here, so I want to find out.

Your idea sounds like the best course of action. Delaying the big tournament also has the nice benefit of giving us more time to create a rational set of rules.

That would have to be discussed with StarWindWizard since he’s the leader of NSF but I completely agree with your idea.
