For Jiggs Event 20 didn't work(does it need a certain difficulty setting?)

I haven't beaten Subspace yet so I can't do Boss Run for Wolf.

idk how to get wolf other than boss run, BUT I think there is some kinda secret door in the forest of something, idk. but toon link, just beet classic with link. and... jiggs... idr how it did it yesterday...

I just got back from unlocking Toon Link a minute ago. All I did was play Classic on normal with Link and he showed up. I don't know what to do for Wolf or Jigglypuff, though, so I am also in need of some answers.
