I remember one Banzguy comic made fun of how Emo Guy doesn't alter anything; instead, GenEn Guy and Cap'n Obvious were always seen doing that.

And if you really want screwball comedy, you can always read the Banzguy comics. Where, coincidentally, W34v3r is a main character.

Finished Chapter 4. OH THE MEMORIES

Some parts of this were kinda cheesy, but most of it was really good. Though it seems like some scenes require out-of-comic explanations. This might've of been explained in Chapter 5, but where is that short dude and Sir Knight Guy? And why was Torture Guy trying to kill Shi Guy in the first place?

Hyper Guy and Sir K get their part in Chapter 5, and it was never explained why Torture Guy is out to get Shi Guy. All Shi Guy knows is that he is.
I'm actually reworking the earliest comics so as to make the out-of-comic issues no longer issues.

Yeah, you could say Shy Guy Tale is a little "mouldy," especially in the older parts. The very last comic of Chapter 4 is a hybrid of cheese and awesome depending on what part you read because of its extended working period. For the most part, I think I've gotten better.

Yeah, you were suffering from that sudden increase in plot = less humor, but I can see you're pacing it at a better rate now. I liked your adding the remaining four swordbrushes too, it was a cute touch. Speaking of which, is the name of the yellow sword dude ever given?

And I think I remember you saying Fear of Creatures would get more time on the old thread, were you planning the whole Fear Retcon all along?

Back then, I was fairly incompetent at writing. (I blame the school system!) Dialogue humor is rather simple, but you kind of have to work a bit for dialogue storytelling because it's always teetering one step away from being cliche. These days, I'm alright at writing.

The yellow sword dude? The one with the blue bars? He gets a name. Actually, he was just given a name in #189. Until then, he's just referred to as "The Leader."

The Fear trick was indeed planned. This is why Shi Guy was just blowing through them. I think it was sometime around the middle of chapter 3 or 4 that I finally had the whole story written out.

I thought it needed to be told a little more straightforwardly that Emo Guy is actually going to fix Dead People Land instead of just make everyone come back to life. Sir K really does love his land though. The times he had in Dead People Land were pretty awesome, we just didn't get to see any of it. That's another thing that needed to be reinforced.

Needless to say, if Sir K lives, the new Dead People Land will have the most awesome guard ever.

This is not the "end" of the Dead People Land dealy that I mentioned earlier, btw. It doesn't end with a "Welp, Sir K loves his home and the power of love saves the day again!" thing. That would be silly.
