I’m glad to announce that the Post of the Week has made a return to the
Smash boards. As successful as it was, this POTW contest will follow
the format of it’s ancestor. 1 head judge (for now myself), and three
to four judges.

Nominations should be given between Monday-Friday.To nominate, post a link with the name of the post, and the author of the post. On Saturday nominations are closed. The winner will be announced on Sunday. Naturally, as this is the smash board, all posts
have to be related to some aspect of the smash series. There is quite a
wealth of subjects to write about in this POTW, considering how huge
the series is.

Prizes

1st place:
100 rupees
A sig addon
A special rank

2nd place:
Add on
50 rupees

3rd place
Add on
25 rupees


Rules
Rules will develop along with this competition. For now, they are just the minimum to make sure this contest runs nice and smooth.

1.Naturally, all posts must fall into the code of conduct. No explicit content.

2.The winner of the POTW may not enter again for 2 weeks

3.Only winners may use the respective add ons. If you are caught breaking this rule, you will not be able to enter the POTW for a month. If any one abuses this rule a second time, they will not be able to enter the POTW.

4.Judges may not enter the POTW. If a judge wants to enter the POTW, they will not be able to judge that respective week.

5.In the event of a tie, the head judge will break it.

Things I will look for include obviously the quality of the post (can't explain what i'm trying to see too well) possible grammar, punctuation and spelling, how much the public seems to like it, as well as how well they can keep their facts and opinions straight.

As a judge I would look for posts that contain new information, originality, and in general info that would help out everyone with what they need in the thread's subject.
