Hello fellow Nsiders,

Here you will find a complied list of all the contests run on NS2. Together with the staff and the team of Contest Assistants we will rock out NS2 with more contests then you could ever imagine! Many chances to win rupees, ranks, market items, and much much more! If you are currently running a contest on NS2 post a link to it here and we will gladly add it to the list. If you have a suggestion for a contest feel free to post it there can never be enough suggestions! One thing though is please do not suggest a prize. The contest staff will assign appropriate prizes for each contest.

In this thread you will find all the contests on NS2. They will be split into continuous and events. Some contests will have ranks as rewards but have not yet been finalized. Also to let you guys know Camp Star is coming back and will run for the whole month of December. Sign ups will be starting on November 17 and last until the 23. We will have a thread for sign ups when that time comes. Do not ask to reserve a spot now.

RotM and NCR

RotM and NCR stand for Reviewer of the Month and Nsider Choice Review respectively. Anyone that posts a review on the board is automatically entered into the NCR. Reviews do have to be decent and well done. Every week a list is created for users to vote for the winning review. Those that participate on the board will be selected and voted on for RotM.

Artist of the Month

Each month 5 galleries are put up in a poll for members to vote on who's is the best. The users gallery gets floated for the month and featured on the portal.

NAME THAT GAME!!!

In this contest an altered picture or screen shot is posted from a video game. Users must then post either the game, game series, or the game system that the image is from. Each of these is worth either 1, 2 or 3 coins decided by Princess_Peach_and_Vivian who runs the contest. There are 8 rounds and the user with the most coins at the end of the game wins.

ShadowMario41's Mario Trivia Challenge

All warm-up and regular trivia contests are hosted in ChatSpike channel #sm41triviahq by ShadowMario41. Questions will vary in that they will be from all of Mario’s gaming life, not just one specific era, though various “rounds” in trivia will zero-in on specific themes or genres in the Mario universe.

This is a contest being run on the Crossing Guardian for Animal Crossing fans. For this contest it has to do with the new game Animal Crossing City Folk. As many of you know there is a shop called the Able Sisters in all of your towns where you can create and buy the latest fashions, from clothing to umbrellas it is all there. This contest is hoping to bring out the creative side of Animal Crossing lovers. Every 2 weeks a new theme will be given.

Talents of Dream Land

In this monthly contest, there will be four sub-competitions that include: The History of Kirby Trivia, The Superstar Sprite Comic Sub-Competition, Fantastic Fan-Art, and The History of Meta Knight Trivia section of this huge competition. To help raise money for this competition, each sub-competition will have their own entry fee with a range of 10-15 rupees per competition.

Hit or Miss

Hit or Miss is the newest contest to hit NS2. In this contest you get to preview up coming games and make predictions on what the games future holds, or you get to give an overview of a new release game. As the title suggests, you are going to preview a up coming game and state whether that game is going to succeed (hit) or fail (miss). While this is an on going contest, the games being covered will vary and as such each time this contest is run, it might be on a different board.

The Lylat System gets its first contest in months, but only because ROB and Brad are in need. Help both of them out by creating brand-new StarFox items for NS2's Market, and you could win big. Unfortunately, we don't pay in scarabs.

Video Gamer's Mythbusters

Anyone who's ever seen the great TV show Mythbusters will know where this idea came from. The original idea for the thread happened on Nsider hosted first by Makoto_Chan and then by Kingmush. However, now we bring it to you as a contest! Each week a myth from a video game will be put up. Since the contest will change boards depending on the myth given, I can't provide you with a link.

Will there be a brawl contest????

Slowly but surely we are coming up with contests for as many boards as we can. So that is a board we are working on a contest for once we get some of the less active boards going.

How will this work? There aren't any contests to be able to make any type of rupees. It isn't working. Rupees are too hard to get.

Hey Rhyme, I was wondering if this could be added to the Contest list. Our Local Knight, Wedge approved it as our board's first Official Wifi/Shoddy tournament. I was wondering if it could be added along with an official prize or something from the Contest Manager? ^_^

We don't do ranks on minor things. I've been told by the Admins no more special ranks are going to be added. We have a few that are already planned so no more contests with special ranks.

I don't know weather to be happy this finally happened or bash my head into a wall over everyone that was against it or just ignored me when I suggested it being made. =\

Well at least contest should be able to get sign ups slightly easier and not die as fast from the lazy inactive players.
