Do you think the narrator/ announcer of the Smash series is actually the Master Hand? It sounds like they have the same voice and it makes sense.

Ive always gotten that impression from the 64 opening.
If the master hand is the one making the dolls/trophies fight, It would make sense that he's also narrating the matches.

Hmmm, I guess you can say that since the announcer and Master Hand have similar voicing. It's probably not though, since I don't imagining him congratulating you after your character taking him out.
