Disc Channel - Disc Channel w/ disc + Disc Channel w/ no disc
Mii channel - create character profiles. Mii characters can be transferred to Wiimote so you can take them with you. Wii games can use character profiles, such as Wii Sports.
Wii Photo Channel - Take your SD card and plug into your Wii. Massive amounts of thumbnails shown. NoA slideshow being run. Fun things to do with photos, puzzle scramble, doodle, and more.
Wii Weather Channel - You can check your weather, what more can I say. It also could be used to make the weather in your area the, weather in most games like Animal Crossing.
Wii News – You can access the most up-to-date breaking news from around the world, organized into a variety of topical categories using this channel. When connected to the Internet, the WiiConnect24 service automatically updates this free channel.
Wii Shop Channel - Download Content includes WiiWare and Vitrual Console Games. Without this channel, you could download the other channels.
Update: Nintendo has just released a console update that lets you buy VC has gifts for a Wii Friend.
Everyone Vote Channel – This was a channel released Feb. 14 (Valentines Day), you use your Miis to vote and predict on Nintendo Released Polls.
Check Mii Out – Released on November 11th, this channel lets you view Miis all around the world or just in your area. Lets you put them on a favorite list or even add them to your Mii Collection. There is also a section where you will be able to vote on Mii’s under different categories like “Best Mario w/out a Cap”
Everyone Nintendo Channel - Currently released in Japan. Nintendo’s way of advertising, Watch Videos and look at pictures of Wii games and/or download DS demos to your DS via Download Play.
Virtual Console Channel - This is where you can download your favorite classic games.
Wii Messageboard – Send messages to other peoples Wii’s or leave a note on your Wii. You will also be able to add people to your buddy list.

Changes in the Controller design (Old –> New)
The Power Button is now Rounded.
You can now see the speaker on the middle.
The “ab/yx” buttons are now 1 and 2.
The Home Feature is there, however, what happened to Start And Select?
Now the Nun-chuck has a Trigger, instead of buttons, and the connector is smaller.

The “Wii-Mote” with nun-chuck attachment
The “Virtual” controller or Classic Style. It is used to play those virtual console games and also can be used as a standard controller for some Wii Games, such as Super Smash Bro Brawl.
Light Gun which is called Zapper Style. This attachment can be used for First-Party games.
This is the Wii Balance Board, It comes with a game called Wii Fit. The board is used for an extensive array of fun and dynamic activities, including aerobics, yoga, muscle stretches and games
Those things Mario and Luigi are holding are called Wii Wheels. As of right now they are bundled with Mario Kart.
